This photo brought back so many memories…the Due Hue medic and Sergeant Charleston and BT and of course the dogs whose names I won’t mention in this post. I was the team leader for MAT 56 in 1970. Joined the team in late April 1970. Thank you for your book “Coyote Jack.” Based on my experiences, it was accurate (not embellished) and your recall was outstanding. Well done and much appreciated. My best to you and all Vietnam veterans. Steve Bailey
I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We must have just missed each other. Did you friend request me on Facebook? If so, please resend. I’d like to know how your experiences were during your tour of duty.
Just missed each other in country I mean. Thank you for the compliments, Steve. Lil’ S (dog) got his name from my predecessor’s team down in Duc Hoa I believe.
